"Reginald Applegate, 45, of Siloam Road, RD3, Freehold, died Dec. 31 at his home. He was a plumber and had been ill for about four years. He was born in Smithburg, the son of the late VanDerveer and Katherine Smith Applegate.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Olive Becker Applegate; four sisters, Mrs. Rose Blain, Smithburg; Mrs. Elsie Thompson, VanHiseville; Mrs. Martha Grover, Whitesville; Mrs. Helen Cranmer, Lakehurst; and two brothers, Clarence, of Colts Neck, and Burtis, of Smithburg.
Services were held Saturday 11 AM from the CHT Clayton and Son Funeral Home, Adelphia, the Rev. Fred Pagels, pastor of Siloam Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold".
