"Millstone Township-Mrs Elizabeth Reed, 46, died yesterday in Allenwood Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Smithburg, the daughter of the late Vanderveer and Catherine Smith Applegate.
She was a member of the Clarksburg Methodist Church, the Ladies Aid Society of the church, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Clarksburg Fire Company.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon, a son, Vernon W; four sisters, Mrs Rose Blaine, Smithburg; Mrs Elsie Thompson, VanHiseville; Mrs Martha Grover, Whitesville, and Mrs Helen Cranmer, Lakehurst; four brothers, John Applegate, Clarksburg; Clarence Applegate, Colts Neck; and Reginald and Burtis Applegate, Smithburg.
The CHT Clayton and Son Funeral Home, Adelphia, are in charge of arrangements".
