"Vernon Reed, 49, of Mount Holly Road, R D 3, Freehold, Millstone Township, died Friday in Paul Kimball Hospital, Lakewood.
Born in Clarksburg, Mr. Reed was the son of the late Walter and Ella Brown Reed.
Surviving are a son, Vernon W, at home; a sister, Mrs. Nola Taylor, Bordentown; and a brother, Orville Reed, Clarksburg.
Services were held Tuesday at 2 PM at the CHT Clayton and Son Funeral Home, Adelphia, with the Rev. Charles Rubart officiating.
Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold".
