Joshua Albert Snyder was a coal miner for the vast majority of his life; although, he was the Town Marshall (Sheriff) for Williamsburg, Fremont, Colorado around 1910. Joshua was a hard man, and lived a hard life. He died of a massive heart attack sitting outside one day.

After the death of his wife, Elizabeth Frew, he was unable to care for the children they had. Some went to relatives, and others were sent to an Orphanage, The State Home for Dependent Children. The only child he kept with him was Albert Joshua Snyder. Albert was 17 years old, and able to work the mines with him.

I have been able to find Memorials for a few of the above brothers and sisters, but not all. In all honesty, some of them may not WANT to be attached. I will respect that in the future.
