Lynn was employed by Duke Medical Center for 33 years. In addition, she was an active member of Agape Circle at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her father Lynn is survived by her devoted husband, Van Anderson, children, Olivia and Jeremy Anderson of Durham; two sisters, Debra Stout of Swepsonville, NC; and Marsha Koury of Sanford, NC; and one brother, Mark Efland of Efland, NC.
The family wishes to express their gratitude for the inspired and loving care from the staff of Hock Family Pavilion, Duke Hospice.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 16, 2010 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. The Reverend W. Douglas Lain, Jr. and Rev. Johnny Branch will preside. Private burial will follow in Efland Presbyterian Church, Efland, NC.
Friends may visit Thursday evening from 500-8:00 PM at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Family Life Center, 1320 Umstead Road, Durham, NC 27712.
