Funeral Rites Today For Milton Springer
Funeral services for Milton Rufus Springer, 79, of Elrod, will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church.
The Rev. Ernest Tilley and the Rev. J. S. Springer will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Springer died Saturday morning at Druid City Hospital. He was born in Tuscaloosa County. He had been a farmer and had done sawmill work.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. M. R. Springer of Elrod; a daughter Mary D. Springer of Elrod; two sisters, Mrs. W. I. Watkins of Buhl and Mrs. A Webb of Tuscaloosa; and two brothers, S. L. Springer of Birmingham and C. D. Springer of Tuscaloosa.
Active pallbearers will be Frank F. Pearson, Grover Pearson, William Watkins, Harold Duncan, James Harris and Bill Tomlin.
