Mrs. Edward Ackerson, of North Marshall, died early Sunday morning at the home of her son, Warren Ackerson, at the age of 83 years. She has been a sufferer of cancer for some time. The deceased was born in New Jersey but removed to Michigan when a young child, and has since resided in the state. She is survived by two sons, Warren of North Marshall, and John of Battle Creek and three daughters, Mrs. Clark Johnson of Marengo, Mrs. White and Mrs. John Lockton of Battle Creek. The funeral will occur Wednesday at one o'clock from the house.

Funeral for the late Mrs. Henrietta Ackerson were conducted from the Warren Ackerson home this afternoon, Rev. A. A. Geiger officiating. Interment was given in the Hotchkiss cemetery.
