MRS. LEEDITH BURNETT;
Mrs. Leedith Burnett, wife of Richard Burnett of Arcadia, of Arcadia, died Friday April 5, in a Jacksonville hospital after a long illness.
She was born October 20, 1908, at Keysville in Hillsborough County, and came to Arcadia about 30 years ago. Mrs. Burnett was a member of Trinity Methodist Church. She was employed for many years as a saleslady by Miss Gertrudes Inc.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Mrs. Sam Godfrey of Jacksonville; her Mother, Mrs. Callie Wiggins of Keysville; four brothers, Emil ONea, Claude ONeal, and Charles ONeal, all of Keysville, and Alex ONeal of Straten Island, New York; a sister, Mrs. Harvey Heilman of Palmetto.
Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon from Trinity Methodist Church with the Rev. Raymond L. Hayes officiating. Burial was in Manasota Memorial Park, Oneco.
Active pallbearers were Pat Kelly, Robert Summerall, Hamp Mixon, Coleman Brewer, Roy Thigpen, and Travis Petrey.
Honory pallbearers were, Dr. C.H. Kirkpatrick, L.R. Morgan, C.E. Adams, W.B. Miller, John Dowd, George Boring, John Parke
