Funeral services will be in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Prince was a native of Wilkes County, but had lived in Thomson for many years.
She was the daughter of the late Leonard S. King and Mamie Callaway King.
She was an OR Nurse at McDuffie Regional Hospital for over 30 years. She was a member of the Thomson First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Gleaners Sunday School Class, Women Missionary Union and the Young at Heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Leonard (Andy) Andrews Appling and a sister, Hilda King Johnson.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth R. Appling, Thomson; a brother, Gerald C. King, Martinez; two grandsons, Jason Appling and Eric Appling; two step-sons, George E. Prince and Elmer E. Prince Jr.; and two step-daughters, Jerrie Warren and Bobbie Jean Kenison.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Thomson First Baptist Church, Briarwood Academy Building Fund, Make A Wish, or Charity of Choice.
