He was originally buried in the Day Center Cemetery. His remains were moved to the Edinburg Cemetery in 1930 by HRRD.

Harry was the son of Frank w. Swears and Anna E. Green. 04 Jul 1913 he married Sarah A. White, daughter of Wallace G. White and Fanny J. Fraiser.

The remains of Harry Swears, who died of pneumonia at his home in Vischer's Ferry, were brought to Day last week and interment was made in the cemetery at the latter place. Besides his wife and child he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Swears, of West Day; six sisters, Mrs. W. H. Aldrlch of Conkllngville; Mrs. W. H. Ross of West Day; Mrs. Charles Fisher of Gloversville; Misses Mildred, lona and Jennie Swears, who reside with their parents; also two brothers, Jay Swears of Camp Meade, Ml., and Ornie Swears of West Day.
