Henry C. Schoenthal
Darien Center, Feb. 21. --- Henry Christian Scheonthal died yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock at his home in this village of infirmities of age. Mr. Schoenthal had been in poor health all winter. He was born in Buffalo, September 21, 1843, and had been a farmer all his life. Mr. Schoenthal was a member of the Baptist church at Folsomdale.
Mr. Schoenthal is survived by three sons, Arthur of Fredonia and Edward and Alvin of Darien Center; five daughters, Mrs. Frank Eiss of Lancaster, Mrs. John Catteler of Forks, Mrs. Milburn Gire of Denver, Ohio, Mrs. Lester Schoen of Hoboken, NJ and Miss Delia Schoenthal of Darien and a sister, Mrs. Carrie Myers of Alden.
Funeral services for Mr. Schoenthal will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at his late home, the Rev. Ira Buffum, pastor of the Baptist church at Cowlesville, officiating. Burial will be in Cowlesville cemetery.
