Daughter of Eliphalet Hull of Fairfield, and born circa 1766, Charity Hull married the Hon. Samuel Burr Sherwood on 17 Nov 1816 in CT. Three daughters were born to this union: Sally, Charity Burr, and Abigail "Abby" Sherwood. After the death of Charity Sherwood, the widower, Samuel B. Sherwood, married the widow Deborah (Hull) Brush, sister of his first wife, Charity.
Daughter Charity Burr Sherwood married William H. Jesup.
