According to the Arkansas, County Marriages Index, 1837-1957 record, Harriet Jane Marr married Thomas Austin Maxwell on January 05, 1871 in Yell County, Arkansas or possibly in Bluffton, Yell County, Arkansas where both Jane Marr and Thomas Austin Maxwell resided.
In the United States Census, 1930 for Elk City, Beckham County, Oklahoma which was enumerated on April 17, 1930, Harriet Jane Marr Maxwell was residing with her daughter, Susan M. “Sudie” Marr Aker and her family. In my opinion it is fair to say that Harriet Jane Marr Maxwell died after April 17, 1930 but in 1930 in Elk City, Beckham County, Oklahoma because Harriet was living there she is buried in Elk City, Beckham County, Oklahoma in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
