Malamo was born Nov. 28, 1949, in Rupert, ID to Nick and Polynixe Elaine Seorlo Christ. She attended the Minidoka County Schools. She was a big help to her mother at home and enjoyed collecting dolls and growing plants and flowers. She was a member of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church of Pocatello. Malamo liked people. She had many trials but always said she was alright.
Malamo is survived by her brother, John N. Christ; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elaine; and brothers, James and Theo.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Hansen Mortuary Rupert Chapel, 710 Sixth St., with Father Mario Giannopoulos of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church of Pocatello officiating. Burial will follow at the Rupert Cemetery.
