.•On Saturday last, Feb. 28th, Mr Daniel Bennett died at his residence In the town of Turtle, at the advanced age of 70 years 7 months and 25 days. Mr. Bennett was one of the earliest Settlers in this section, having located here in 1833, and during all the time since has been among the most
worthy and respected citizens of Rock county, For the past Ten years He has been gradually failing and his demise was a. happy transition from earth's cares and pains to the unspeakable peace and rest of heaven.— Beloit Free Press"
