Brandon Herndon passed away in his sleep while camping in the desert on Tuesday, November 8, 2011. He was born on October 4, 1983, to Brent and Regina Herndon in Yuma, AZ. He graduated from Kofa High in 2001 and attended AWC and NAU.

Brandon loved to hunt and was an avid fisherman. He was a member of Yuma Pro Am Fishing Club and was ranked number 3 on the amateur stats. Brandon was also a member of Yuma Valley Rod and Gun Club for over 10 years and won several awards for fishing. Brandon helped run the family business, Village Inn Pizza Parlor.

Brandon is survived by his mother, Regina Herndon; brother, Bryan Herndon; grandmother, Jo Herndon; uncle and aunt, Bill and Vickie Riesland; uncle, Robert Herndon; aunt, Robin Johnson and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jake Herndon; grandmother, Jackie Golic; aunt, Tina Golic; uncle, Rodney Herndon; father, Brent Herndon and his brother Blake Herndon.

Services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Funeraria del Angel 795 W 28th Street.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cross Roads Mission.

Brandon will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
