Death of Stephen B. Taft.
For the sixth time in eight years death has invaded the family of Mr. Ethan Taft. His son Stephen B. Taft died Wednesday, Aug. 22, at his home in Midland township.
He was born in Tioga county, PA., Feb. 15, 1853, and was in his fortieth year. The family has lived in Midland about fifteen years. Stephen was married about three years ago to Mrs. Cora Taft the widow of his brother. She is left with a little son, the child of her former husband and a daughter, the child of Stephen. Mr Taft has been failing with consumption for some time.
The funeral was appointed for this afternoon at two o'clock at his home.
