A sixteen months old son of Roy Montgomery was buried at Hominy cemetery Saturday October 13. Rev. W. H. Wilson conducted the funeral service.

The Oklahoma Death Index shows a John Montgomery of Osage County dying on October 12, 1917. There is no listing for a James Montgomery, so I'm guessing that "John" was a transcription error in the index, or perhaps the coroner wrote the wrong "J" name on the death certificate.
