Mrs. Meta Jeske, 80, of Valders, died Friday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders. The Rev. Carl Peters will officiate with burial in Gjerpen Cemetery.

Mrs. Jeske, nee Meta Kattreh, was born Nov. 20, 1896, in the Town of Cato, daughter of the late Fred and Mary Laundua Kattreh. She attended Valders Schools and was a housewife. She was married to Theodore Jeske Oct. 10, 1917, in the Town of Cato. He preceded her in death Jan. 19, 1956.

Mrs. Jeske was a member of Valders Senior Citizens, Faith Lutheran Church, American Lutheran Church and Women and Valders Homemakers.

Survivors include three sons, Ronald and Theodore, of Manitowoc and Philip, of Clintonville, four daughters, Mrs. Ted (Lucy) Schroeder and Mrs. Donald (Eunice) Bastian, of Manitowoc, Mrs. Edwin (Helen) Griffin, of Rt. 1, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Randolph (Leona) Harrison, of Rockford, Ill., 27 grandchildren. Two sisters and two half brothers preceded her in death.

Friends may call at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and at the church from noon Monday until the time of service.
