MARION - Mrs. Joseph L. Wheeler, of Marion, died here suddenly of a heart attack today. Funeral services will be from Protestant Episcopal Church of the Advent tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Mrs. Wheeler, who apparently was in good health, was stricken today at noon.
Widow of Joseph L. Wheeler, who was a lumberman and former state highway commissioner, had resided in Marion 40 years. Before her marriage she was Miss Edith Hurteau, of Emporia, Pennsylvania.
Surviving are a brother, George F. Hurteau; and two nephews, George F. Hurteau, Jr. and Joseph Hurteau, all of Columbia.
