J. Guy Holbrook, 73, died Saturday night, December 25, 1954, in University Hospital, Baltimore. He had resided near Finksburg where he operated a fruit and produce stand. He was a son of the late John and Margaret Holbrook. His wife, Mrs. Daisy Belle Holbrook, died October 1953.
Surviving are four children, Mrs. Roy Bohn, Westminster; John W. Holbrook, at home; Mrs. Edward Paden, Hagerstown, and Mrs. Howard Upperco, Baltimore; a sister, Mrs. William Bowers, Westminster; two half-sisters, Mrs. Joseph Ledlich, Union Bridge, and Mrs. Stella Myles, Baltimore; a half-brother, Herbert Holbrook, Baltimore; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
