Mrs. Bishop was the daughter of Emma Wheeler and the late Silas W. Hatch, and was born in Adams 33 years ago. Until her marriage in 1905, she resided with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Wheeler at Mannsville.
While a resident here she was a conscientious and painstaking teacher and an untiring worker in the Baptist church and its societies, and the community greatly deplore her death.
After two years' residence here, Mr. and Mrs. Bishop moved to Watertown, where both have been actively engaged in temperance and church work. Besides her husband she leaves three small children, twin babies, Florence and Floyd, only a few days old. Her mother, Mrs. James McNett of Ashland, Neb.; two sisters, Clara Cunningham of Charlotte, N. C., and Miss Gertrude Hatch of New York, and two brothers, William Hatch of Brooklyn, and Silas of Bridgeport, Conn., also survive.
The funeral was held today at 12:30 at the home, 319 Boyd street, Watertown, and the body brought to Adams on the 2:16 train for burial in Rural cemetery.
