Jane was born July 24, 1935 in Greenfield ,TN, to the late James Harold and Margaret Needham.
She graduated from Steele Private School and attended West Tennessee Business College.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Raymond Allen in 2008.
Jane was a devoted wife,mother,and homemaker during her children's early years,
Later she worked at the Camera Shop,The Kitchen Cabinet at Old Hickory Mall and many years at Lambuth Memorial Preschool where she was loved and known by many little ones as MISS JANE.
She was a long time member of the Johnson Memorial and Grace Presbyterian Church and worked with the children and youth programs and choirs.
Jane lovd Gospel music and vacationing on the Florida beaches with her family.
She is survived by her daughters
Debbie Stockwell and her husband Jeff
Nancy Hamm all of Jackson
Julie Thurmond and her husband Tom of lexington,TN
Tracey Stewart and her husband Doug of Tupelo,MS
her precious grandchildren
Adam and Travis Thurmond,

She will be truly missed by her loving family.
Memorial services will be held at the Chapel on Tuesday, November 15,2011 Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
