Fritz was our first "furry family member". I know Fritz is a boy's name, but when we first got her as a puppy, we thought she was a boy. She was a major part of our family from 1974 to 1976 when she had two groups of puppies and my parents decided to send her to the SPCA along with the puppies except one (one boy puppy we kept and named Teddy - he lived with us for 14 years until his passing in 1990).
