Mrs. Lucinda Sizemore - Dies at Conestee. Mrs Lucinda Hughes Sizemore, for the past 10 years a resident of Conestee, died there at the home of her daughter, Mrs.J. H. Davis, yesterday afternoon at 7 o.clock after a short illness. Mrs.Sizemore was well known in this section, having lived all her life in the neighborhood of Conestee. She was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church.

Mrs.Sizemore is survived by the following daughters and sons: Mrs.Ellie Vaughn and Mrs.R. C. Smith of Greenville; Mrs. Hattie Davis of Conestee; Mrs.LilleeTurner of Winston-Salem NC, Ollie and A.C.Sizemore of Greenville, A.D.Sizemore of Mooresvile, NC and W. T.Sizemore of High Point, NC. One brother,William Hughes of Walhalla. Services at Wesleyan Methodist Church, Rev. J.R.George assisted by Rev.Gaines. Burial in Ebenezer Church Cemetery.

Lucinda's parents were; Joshua C. Hughes born from 1815 to 1818 in S.C. and died Nov. 8, 1862. Joshua's wife and Lucinda's mother was Mary Elizabeth (Tarver) Hughes. I have not been able to find their gaves at this time, 2011.
