Mrs. Amelia Mockbee, famous in this city for her great age of 104 years, died at the home of her son, James Mockbee, 5802 Emerald avenue, last Friday afternoon. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. R. Keene Ryan, pastor of the Garfield Boulevard Presbyterian church, Sunday afternoon from the chapel of Johnson & Nagel, 59th and Halsted streets. The interment took place at Oakwoods cemetery. Mrs. Mockbee was born at Boston Mass., in 1805.
