Jackie was born in Cleveland, Ohio on April 5, 1934 and passed away at YRMC on Sunday, March 7, 2010 with family and friends by her side.

Jackie met Ray Golic and they were married on April 13, 1957. They moved from Ohio to Scottsdale, Arizona soon after marrying. Jackie was a hairdresser and Ray worked as a bricklayer. They moved to Yuma in 1965 and together founded Village Inn Pizza Parlor of Yuma on June 6, 1966. In 1971, Jackie opened her second store, which is carried on today by her daughter and grandsons. Jackie loved the outdoors and enjoyed going camping, whether it was in the desert or El Golfo, with her family and friends. She loved archery and won the Ohio Women's State Archery Championship title. Jackie was an active member and treasurer for Hermosa Garden Club and loved the Conservation Garden located at the fairgrounds. Jackie's immediate family include daughter, Regina Herndon; grandsons Brandon and Bryan Herndon and adopted daughter Robin Johnson. She was also blessed with many beloved friends.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband Ray Golic, her son Raymond Golic, her daughter Christina Golic and her grandson Blake Herndon.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Blake Herndon Scholarship Foundation, USBC at Attn: SMART, 53101 S. 76th Street, Greendale, WI 53129, Acct#11277, or the Conservation Garden. Jackie will be missed by her family and friends.
