Jane McNamee Augeri died peacefully at home Monday, Sept. 12, 2011.

Born in Albany, N.Y. July 23, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Ronald and Edith Jackman McNamee. Mrs. Augeri was a graduate of New Rochelle Hospital School of Nursing and worked as an RN in both New Rochelle, N.Y. and Stamford, Conn.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Augeri; sons, Thomas Benedetto (Deborah) of Monroe, Conn., William Benedetto (Sonia) of Norwalk, Conn., Timothy Benedetto (Joan) of Marietta, Ga.; stepson, Keith Augeri (Michelle) of Newbury, Mass; grandsons, Cody and Tyler Benedetto of Norwalk, Conn.; sister, Martha Emerson of Stillwater, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Ames (Noel) of Granby, Mass. and daughters, Catherine Mary and Anne Marie Benedetto.

Services will be 2pm Monday, Sept. 19, 2011 at Jennings Funeral Home & Crematory. There will be a reception following the service at Jennings Funeral Home. A permanent burial site will provided at Beechwood Cemetery, 179 Beechwood Ave., New Rochelle, N.Y. at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice, 220 Wexford Blvd., Venice, FL. Published in Herald Tribune from September 15-17, 2011
