Robert Conrad of New Wine passes away after a brief illness.
Robert Conrad, one of the oldest residents of Dubuque County died Sunday at his home in New Wine. He was born in Buffalo, NY and was a resident of this county almost a half century. He was sick about two months, death being caused by cancer of the stomach. He is survived by his wife and six children and one brother, John of Dyersville. The following children mourn his loss: Maggie, William, Sophia, Tom, Martha, and Mary. The funeral was held Wednesday at New Wine. Father Pape officiating.
