Dorothy Darnell Sellers, 87, of 3488 Char-Augusta Road, Bamberg, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, at the UPAC of Barnwell.
The funeral will be held in the Cooner Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Ken Sandifer officiating. Interment to follow in Bamberg County Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
She was born March 28, 1924, in Barnwell, daughter of the late Ben Tillman Darnell and the late Annie Hutto. She was the widow of the late Hamp Sellers.
She was a member of Spring Branch Baptist Church, Bamberg. Ms. Sellers retired from Ambler Industries with more than 30 years as a seamstress. She enjoyed cooking, working in her yards, and loved her dogs and white rabbit.
Survivors include one daughter, Doris and Butch Heffelfinger of Bamberg; one son, Robert Sellers of Daytona Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Blaine and Stephanie Heffelfinger of Rowesville, Michelle and Richard Moore of Bamberg, Missi Heffelfinger of Bamberg, Shana and Jeff Tyner of Kissimmee, Fla., and Ricky Sellers of DeLand, Fla.; great-grands, Jordon and Riggs Heffelfinger of Rowesville, Jessica and Justin Moore of Bamberg, Kelby Kittrell of Bamberg, Heather Tyner of Kissimmee, Fla., and Kaye and Trinity Sellers.
