Julia Standard Wheeler, 73, passed away at her home in Del Norte Monday morning, May 13, as the result of a stroke. She had been ill only about twenty-four hours preceding her death.
Mrs. Wheeler was the wife of Edward F. Wheeler. They came to Del Norte in 1918 and had resided here since that time. A son, Barnett Wheeler, lives in Del Norte, and another son, Charles E., lives in Englewood, Colorado. Funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. Clarence Goodman in Del Norte, Wednesday, May 15, with Rev. Burr and Williams officiating. Burial was in the Del Norte cemetery.
