BRENHAM — Services for Lena Schulze Finke, 91, of the Prairie Hill community are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran Church in Prairie Hill.
The Rev. Sue Beall will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Brenham Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Finke died Monday at her home.
She was born in the Prairie Hill community of Washington County and attended Prairie Hill and Rocky Hill schools. She was a homemaker. She was a nurse's aide at Brenham Rest Home for 19 years. She was a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Doodle" Finke.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Harry Wehring; a son, Jerry Finke; a sister, Erna Finke; a sister-in-law, Ruby Schulze; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a stepgreat-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill.
