Friends may call at the Wheeler Mortuary in Springville Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday prior to services. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Jarvis was born Sept. 5, 1885 in Venice, Sevier County to George and Mary Bench Wall. On Sept. 15, 1925 she married William H. Jarvis in the Mesa LDS Temple. He died in 1971.
At an early age, she moved with her family to Mexico, where she lived until 1960, when she and her husband moved to Mapleton. Active in the LDS Church, she served in the various auxiliaries.
She graduated from International Business College in El Paso, Texas and attended Brigham Young University. As a girl she worked in her father's store, then for Singer Sewing Machine Co. in El Paso. For 35 years, she taught in the Juarez State School system in Mexico.
She enjoyed writing and telling exciting true stories about the Mexican Revolution and Pancho Villa.

(Amy) Cloward, Mapleton; 52 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters, John Wall, Logan; Angus Wall, Lindon; Milne Wall and Dora Wall, both of Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Leah Jones, Tucson, Ariz.
