Phillip Joseph Schiele, age 73, Fargo, ND, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2004 at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo.
Phillip was born on September 7, 1930 to Philip Schiele and Emelia Tuchscherer at Devils Lake, ND. Phillip grew up and attended school at Webster. He served in the Army from 1948-1949. Phillip worked for Lake Grocery in Devils Lake, ND for three years.
In 1957, he married Betty Laturnus at Devils Lake, ND and they made their home in Fargo. He worked for Nabisco for 35 years, retiring in 1991.
He is survived by his wife; Betty, Fargo; and children, Mike (Kristi) Schiele, Joseph Schiele, Mary Tangen, Sue (Richard) Nieland, Jeff (Joan) Schiele, and Patrick Schiele; ten grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Rose (Tim) Senger, Agnes (Jim) Nelson, Jim (LuAnn) Schiele, Don (Kathy) Schiele, and Kathy Kirkeby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and a sister.
