Born in Penn Yan on March 28, 1910 he was the son of Willis Jayne, who resides in Penn Yan, and the late Mrs. Jayne. Survived by his wife, Elsa; his father; two sons, Douglas of Chatham,. Va, and Arden, Stanfordville; stepson Jack Wood, Vestal; two brothers, Robert, Penn Yan; Edward, Oswego; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Jones and Mrs. Frances Knapton, Penn Yan; Mrs Marjorie Barrett, Wayne; four grandchildren, Rebecca, Deborah & Jackie Lee Wood, and William Jayne. Mrs. Jayne found her husband Saturday.
