He is preceded in death by: father, Norman Shelton; mother, Alta Violet Shelton; brother, Rawldon Shelton; sisters: Imo Jean Baker, Jenna Lou Capps, Helen Butske. Alton leaves to cherish his memories: loving wife, Loretta; sons: Rick & wife Marva, Danny & wife Kim, Dennis & wife Rhonda; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers, A.G. Shelton & wife Ruby, David Shelton & wife Lois; sisters, Karen Davis & husband Cliff, Rena Childers & husband Kent. The family will receive friends from 5-8PM on Monday, November 28th. Funeral Services will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, November 29th at Brookside Funeral Home Family Chapel, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039, 281-449-6511. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
