Gladys DeHaven Semones, 79, of Radford, died Monday at Radford Community Hospital.

She was a former resident of Roanoke and former member of the Huntington Court United Methodist Church.

She was a member of Carter Street United Methodist Church..

Surviving are her husband, Isaac R. Semones; one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Jeanette) Newman, Richmond; one son, Robert C. Semones, Roanoke; two brothers, Troy DeHaven, and W. Bryan DeHaven, Roanoke; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Pruett, Roanoke; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Carter Street United Methodist Church with the Rev. Betty Hudson officiating, interment will follow in Sunrise Burial Park. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Seaver-Sanders Funeral Home.
