MRS. D. B. BAUGHMAN
DIES; ILL FOUR YEARS
Mrs. Bessie L Baughman, 72, of Dresden, a partner in the Baughman and Sons Funeral Homes at Frazeysburg and Dresden, died at 3:05 p.m. Tuesday in Good Samaritan Hospital where she had been a patient since June 6. Death followed a four-year illness with a heart condition.
She was the widow of Daniel Bryce [Brice] Baughman who died in 1954.
A native of Monroe County, she was born Oct. 7, 1887, to George and Mary McMullen Lindemood. She was a member of the Dresden Methodist Church and its WSCS. She was also a member of the Frazeysburg Chapter 0390, Order of Eastern Star.
Mrs. Baughman is survived by two sons, Lester F. and Harold N. both of Frazeysburg; a brother, Bert Lindemood of Columbus; and two grandsons, David and Neal Baughman, both of Frazeysburg. A brother, a sister and a half sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Frazeysburg chapel Wednesday evening and at the Dresden Chapel Thursday evening.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday from the Dresden Methodist Church. The Rev. James R. Maxwell will officiate and burial will be in Frazeysburg Cemetery.
The body will be in state at the church one hour prior to services.
