"WAC Veteran Dies in Hospital
Mrs. Alberta B. Williams, 2020 Winter Ave., a WAC veteran of World War II, died at General Hospital yesterday after an illness of three weeks.
Born in Davies County 44 years ago, Mrs. Williams had been a resident of Indianapolis for 23 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m. Thursday at the Harry W. Moore Peace Chapel. Burial will be in Crown Hill.
Survivors include her husband, James R., a son, Paul: three sisters, Mrs. Charity Graves, Salem; Mrs. Olive Herrold, Red Key, and Mrs. Ruth Gentry, Chicago; two brothers, Howard Brewer, Indianapolis, and Harry Brewer, Michigan City."
