Tony Kuntz, 91, Park, died Sunday, June 3, 2007, at Gove County Medical Center Long Term Care, Quinter. He was born June 27, 1915, in Park to Jacob and Matilda (Waldman) Kuntz.

He attended country grade school south of Park. He was a farmer.

He married Ida Marie (Herzog) Kuntz on Jan. 18, 1944, in Park.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; five sons, Robert Kuntz and Leon Kuntz, both of Park, Roger Kuntz, Grainfield, Steve Kuntz, Ardmore, Okla., and Virgil Kuntz, Scott City; two daughters, Eileen Juenemann and Tina Wick, both of Hays; a sister, Bertha Robben, Oakley; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Melissa Kuntz; two brothers, Nick Kuntz and Titus Kuntz; and five sisters, Julie Heier, Mary Heier, Sister Anastatia Kuntz, Leogardia Walt and Christina Dreher.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Park; burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Park. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church. A vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund in care of Schmitt Funeral Home, Quinter.
