Services for Alvin E. Gann, 75, of 1111 14th St. Brownwood,
will be at 11 am, Saturday at Rising Star Cemetery, The Rev.
Craig Norton is to officiate. Morelock Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr Gann died at 8:20 pm Thursday in Brownwood Regional Hospital following a three day illmess.
He was born March 26, 1905 in Frost and was a retired laborer. He was a Baptist and had lived in Brownwood since 1958. He was formerly of Anson.He married Mattie Dell Casbeer at Abilene in 1946. She died Oct.20, 1979.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Wilson of Northport, Ala. Four sons, Donald Ray Gann and A.E.Gann both of Northport, Ala. Bobby Joe Gann and Billy Gann, both of Tuscaloosa, Ala.A brother Johnny Gann of Winters, 18 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
