He was born May 9, 1918, in Waynesburg, a son of Emmett G. and Tillie Gilbert Lippencott.
Mr. Lippencott was a member of Oakview United Methodist Church in Waynesburg, where he was a former deacon.
He was a member of Carpenters Union Local 541 and worked for several years for Franklin Township, Greene County, and Wayne Lumber as a carpenter. He worked at various job locations until his retirement July 1, 1984.
On May 25, 1946, he married Lillian Crayne, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Deborah L.Keith of Waynesburg; a son, Ronald G. Lippencott of Waynesburg; four grandchldren, Heather E. Gawne, Courtney N. Huffman, Nathan A. Lippencott and Kristi M. Keith; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Herman Lippencott of Waynesburg; a sister, Shirley Montblanc of Metarie, La.; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a daughter, Linda Sue Lippencott; and a sister, Dale Bedilion.
