Came west over the Oregon Trail in 1880, went to school in Glenrock, WY. The family then moved on to San Pedro, CA. Worked in the mines in Bisbee. Married Jessie F. Bennet of Tombstone, AZ in 1902. They moved to Southern California where they lived until he died.He was the owner of Abbott's Hollywood Pharmacy.
