Mary W. Wine, 91, died Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Oak Lea in Harrisonburg.
She was born in Bridgewater, on April 2, 1920, and was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Isadora (Campbell) Williams.
Mary graduated from Bridgewater High School and Dunsmore Business College. She worked as a legal secretary for many years for the Rockingham County Administrator prior to retirement, and was a lifelong member of the Bridgewater Presbyterian Church.
On April 25, 1964, she was married to Joseph F. Wine, Sr. who predeceased her on April 7, 1967. She was also preceded by a step-son, Joseph F. Wine, Jr., two sisters, two brothers and a niece.
She is survived by a step-daughter, Mary L. "Liz" Bodkin and husband Wade of Bridgewater, step daughter-in-law, Frances Wine of Staunton, two step granddaughters, two step great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Bridgewater, with Rev. Kerry Foster officating.
