Dorothy Robbins Belcher, 89, of Roanoke, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, December 2, 2011.

She devoted her life to her loving husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James W. Belcher, her oldest daughter, Bonnie B. Varney and middle daughter, Brenda B. Trail, along with one great-grandchild, Valeria Fore.

Left to cherish her memory is her baby daughter, Ann B. Zirkle; along with 10 amazing grandchildren, David Anderson Jr., Jeff Anderson, Richard Zirkle III, Timothy Martin, James Zirkle, Kim Martin, Amy Trail, John Zirkle, Traci Martin, and Steve Trail II; also 17 beautiful great-grandchildren and four precious great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 5, 2011 at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel with the Rev. Carter Sloan officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem. The family will receive friends and family on Sunday, December 4, 2011 between 2 and 4 p.m. We will miss you Me Maw, but we know we will all be together again.
