After serving with the Jewish Brigade of the British Army during WW2, Tavor was one of the original members of the Nok'mim (The Avengers) along with Rafi Eitan, Peter Malkin, and other Jews who sought to avenge the deaths of their people who were killed at the hands of the Nazis and their collaborators. One of their most infamous captures was SS Obergruppenfuehrer (Lieutenant Colonel) Adolf Eichmann, who was later tried, convicted, and executed for crimes against humanity.
