Funeral services were held at the Second Christian Reformed church in Orange City March 17 for Frank Noteboom, 82, of Orange City, who died at his home March 15 following a heart attack.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Edward Blankespoor and burial was made in West Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Noteboom was born September 2, 1888. He was married to Melena De Linto (her correct name is: Helena Adriana De Lint--per her obituary) September 9, 1910. The couple farmed northwest of Orange City for many years prior to retiring in 1944 and moving into Orange City. Mrs. Noteboom died August 10, 1954.
Survivors include three sons, Arie of Alton, Hubert of Orange City and Lee of Archer; three daughters, Mrs. Andrew Sorgdrager of Orange City, Mrs. Wilbur Riemersma of Hospers, and Mrs. Herman Van Zyl of Montevideo, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Cleveringa, of Orange City; 17 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
