"Interment at Calvary

The funeral of Mrs. Susana Machado de Bernard will be held this morning at 8 o'clock from the family home, 845 Lake street and thence to the Cathedral of St. Vibiana, where requiem mass will be celebrated. Mrs. Bernard was a member of one of the old Spanish families and well known. Interment will be in Calvary cemetery."

"FUNERAL SERVICES HELD AT CATHEDRAL

The funeral of Mrs. Susanna Machado de Bernard was held yesterday morning at the Cathedral of St. Vibiana. Rt. Rev. Mgr. Harnett celebrated solemn requiem mass, assisted by Rev. E. A. Heffernan as deacon and Rev. Joseph McManus as sub-deacon. Bishop Conaty gave the final absolution. The pallbearers were R. J. Dillon, J. W. Wolfskill, Y. Del Valle, Sylvester Grant, Guy Barham, Judge Winder, J. C. Kays and J. Bowen. Interment was in the family vault at Calvary cemetery."
