Bobbie J. Lee was the oldest child of John Edward and Nancy Jane Hollis Lee. He was born May 21, 1929 in Trinity County, Texas. He was drafted into the Army and served in Korea. He married Ruth Havard on October 15, 1960. They had four sons and two daughters. Bobbie worked at the Paper Mill in Lufkin, Texas until his retirement. He was a keen hunter and loved to garden and grow flowers. After years of suffering with severe diabetes, he died of congestive heart failure on July 26, 1994 in a Houston, Texas hospital.
