Elizabeth is buried in Fraserview Cemetery in New Westminster where she moved to with 4 adult sons and a teenaged daughter, Ida Mary, after being widowed in Middle Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia. There is no headstone for her, but the family plot is marked Bryson. Her son James Stewart, his two wives, and her grandson Bruce & wife Margery are buried there, as well. There is a recording of her being buried in Nova Scotia with her husband, John Stuart Bryson, but she is not buried there. (An inscription on a headstone for her reads "Wife of James S.") Elizabeth left behind one married daughter, Harriet Fraser, and her family in Nova Scotia. Two of her children who had died in infancy were buried in NS, as well. They have similar names to 2 of her later children who survived and moved West with her, further confusing some genealogists and family researchers.
